Skiing and More Work

It's Not All Fun and Games!
1800 Meters High in the French Alps

A Lunch in the Alps

Align CenterParents and Friends,

Yesterday was a day filled with skiing. Everyone had a blast skiing at 1800 meters. The sun was shining and there wasn't a cloud to be found. Allan led us to the top of a mountain (by a lift of course) and we ate lunch there. The scenery was unbelievable and the lunch wasn't bad either. At around 4:00 we left the ski resort and headed for Awana at the International Church of Grenoble. We put on a puppet show for three groups of children who seemed to really enjoy it. After an exhausting day we headed for the camp and ate dinner. Today was a 'back to work' day on the camp. We finished Monday's work (with a few muscle aches from yesterday) and completed our final day in Grenoble at Champfleuri. We'll head for the TGV train tomorrow and take a three hour ride to Paris.

Love,

The Mission Team
P.S. The girls still have not recieved their luggage. It was supposed to arrive today but it hasn't yet. Pray that it will find us in Paris if not Grenoble.

  1. I am envious! The Alps look beautiful. We have the snow and the cold here, but it is nothing in comparison.

  2. Hi everyone, The pictures are great! I even saw some out on Dawn's facebook. Now you can say you went skiing in the French Alps. Not sure which is harder, the work or the play. Nicole, if you have to shop for clothes, I think your "shopping" friends will be glad to help you pick out some French styles, that you'll be able to wear back here too. I have a picture of your luggage that I took at the airport, since you probably forgot what it looked like by now. It sounds like, you may see it again though, so I pray for that and am proud of all of you for pulling together through the difficulties. Mrs. Danielson needs some tender loving care too, so we will pray for her health. Remember to be a "team" and share the gifts God has given you.
I love you...and can't wait to hear about Paris...all the details.
    Love,
    Mom, Dad and Aaron
